Mold Monitor
▶ Mold Monitor Principle
The mold monitor utilizes state-of-the-art machine vision technology to develop an injection molding machine mold protection system. Installed on the injection molding machine, it performs secondary photographic inspections during the molding cycle, ensuring that mold damage caused by product sticking or ejector pins/sliders not returning to their proper positions is effectively protected for normal mold use. The mold monitor is primarily used for online visual monitoring of horizontal injection molding machines, vertical injection molding machines, stamping presses, and die-casting molds. Its functions include monitoring in-mold anomalies, product appearance, product quantity, surface defects or defective products, checking for residues before mold closing, and providing timed shutdown alarms to protect the mold in a timely manner, avoiding downtime for mold repairs, and effectively improving product quality and production efficiency.
